Nordic Woods is located on the edge of the wilderness, near the Åsnen National Park in the south of Sweden. From your tipi, you have a view of the Swedish forests, where you can explore the nature of Sweden by hiking after a short road-crossing. On the other side, you overlook a wide lake, where you can explore a whole network of lakes and rivers by canoe.
Nordic Woods is located right next to the Åsnen National Park, on the edge of the Swedish Hönshyltefjorden. From here, you can explore the wilderness on foot or from your canoe.
Explore the surrounding lakes and remote islands with our Canadian Long Canoes, which are ready for you at the lake.
A pizza from the wood-fired oven, you'll find this at the Nordic Bistrø. After a lovely day in nature, you can enjoy a nice drink along with one of our freshly made pizzas here. You can choose from options like the Caprese, Salsiccia, or the Nordic Pizza.
The Nordic Bistrø is open on Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
You can also stop by the Nordic Bistrø every day for fresh sandwiches and croissants. The Bistrø Bakery is open between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
In the living room of Nordic Woods, you can gather together for a drink and marshmallows by the campfire.
Enjoy a warm wood-fired hot tub with a view of the lake and, in the evening, a sparkling starry sky.
You can participate in daily yoga sessions in the large tipi. Later in the evening, it's the perfect place to build a roaring campfire or play a game of Werewolves.
In the middle of the lake, you'll find our large barrel sauna, where you can warm up before jumping into the cool water!
It takes some luck, but in a few weeks, you will get to see the Aurora Borealis from the Nordic Woods camp, also known as the Northern Lights. The mesmerizing display of colors visible from Nordic Woods is purple. This is due to the type of atmosphere that the sunlight particles interact with.

What you can expect:
At Nordic Woods, you’ll stay right in the heart of Swedish nature. You’ll sleep among the trees, close to the water, and under a clear starry sky. Without distractions, you can truly relax. You’ll cook over an open fire, explore the surroundings, and experience how simple and beautiful outdoor life in Sweden can be.
At and around the Nordic Woods camp, you have the chance to take part in various activities every day! Go on exciting expeditions, explore the forests, canoe on the serene lake, unwind with a yoga session, or relax in the sauna or hot tub after a day full of action.
During your stay, you'll sleep in spacious tipi tents. The tipis are beautifully decorated and equipped with a rug, lamps, and warm bedding (excluding linen). You have your own terrace with a fire pit, loungers, and a tripod so you can enjoy cooking over your own fire.

No, absolutely not. Preregistration doesn’t mean you’re making a booking. It simply ensures you’re among the first to know when the 2027 trips go live, while giving you access to all the benefits: early access and the best rate guaranteed.
You’ll be the first to receive an email as soon as our 2027 trips are available. On 27 October 2026, you’ll get your personal access link (24 hours before the official launch), giving you first pick of the available spots.
